About The Show: A series of four plays by Gabrial Rosenstock give us an insight in to life at the Irish language newspaper Amanathar. Drawing from his own experiences and two eventful years spent at the newspaper Anois, Rosenstock reveals what is involved in the running of a newspaper and the everyday issues that the newspaper and its staff must overcome - the weekly editorial, a lack of staff, deadlines, tension amongst the team and, of course, how to ensure funding for the paper. Producer of the series for Raidió na Life is Gabriel's son Tristan Rosenstock, a former presenter with the station. Raidió na Life is delighted to rebroadcast the series this autumn, every Sunday at 1.30pm starting on the 24th September. If you are unable to listen to the broadcasts, podcasts of the entire series are available here.
