Wednesday - Seáinín, Mícheál and Déaglán: Wednesday's show is a light hearted chat show with a few choice music tracks scattered throughout. The lads discuss some of the more unusual stories, the latest events and (of course) you get to hear the finest tracks as well. There's usually an interview every week covering any and all topics, be it with artists, experts or activists. Feedback is always welcome - positive or negative – as long as we can give as good as we get, so get in contact!
Thursday - Éadaoin Nic Láimhe: "Is binn béal ina thost..." Well, that old saying doesn't ring true for Éadaoin Nic Láimhe. "Craic agus ceol" is this primary school teacher's motto. Originally from Monaghan, Éadaoin brings a small bit of rural life with her to the station. She attended Gaelscoil Rois in Carrickmacross and Coláiste Inbhear after that. She has a degree in teaching from St. Patrick's College. She is very interested in music, playing the drums from an early age and taking up guitar this year. Her favourite band is Guns N' Roses. She was a member of a band called 'The Intervals' for four years but they split up after college. She supports Liverpool FC.
Friday - Fiona Ní Gháibhín: Fiona has almost completed a HDip in Primary Teaching with Hibernia College. She hopes to teach in a Gaelscoil in the Dublin area. " I love to travel and lived in Korea for about three and a half years. I taught English there and thoroughly enjoyed the teaching and the kids. While in Korea I had a great hunger for live music, which was scarce, and promised myself that I would hear as much as possible when I got back. I have been lucky enough since to have gone to Glastonbury, the Electric Picnic, Exit as well as smaller gigs: Garden Party, Lovebox etc. There is so much live music here in Dublin and around the country, around Europe even, I'm very glad to be home. I love speaking Irish and Raidió na Life gives me the chance to combine that with playing music I like and to share it all with An Meangadh Mór's listeners! Wohoo!"
