Monday - Cormac Mac Gabhann:
Tuesday -
Ruth Killen & Judy-Meg Ní Chinnéide: Judy-Meg is from Dublin and started out as a volunteer in Raidió Na Life at the beginning of 2011. She spent a few nice years in London, where she worked in book publishing and after that she spent a few mad years as a trad musician, living on a ship on the Baltic Sea, travelling between Finland and Sweden. Judy-Meg reads the news on Friday and is also a co-presenter, along with Ruth Killen, on Tuesdays Fios Feasa.
Wednesday -
Kate Ní Uallacháin & Rachel Ní Chuinn:
Kate hails from Killdare. At present she is in her final year of a BA in Media Studies at The National University of Ireland Maynooth. She enjoys travelling and when she graduates she intends to travel abroad to add to her media experience. She works in Dublin as a substitute teacher from time to time. Her pastimes include swimming regularly and she loves to dance around the handbags on a night out with the girls. She joined the Raidió Na Life team as a news reader in September of this year.
Racheal Ní Chuinn is from Dublin and is currently studying music and media technologies in Trinity College. She's an artist, producer and member of the Dublin
Laptop Orchestra. She's currently organising musical events for Culture Night 2011 and the ABSOLUT Fringe Festival. She started with Raidió Na Life because she had picked up the radio bug while with CKUT, a campus community radio station in Montreal, Canada. She is really into the arts and loves getting to meet musicians and artists on the show.
Thursday - Sara McNamara: Sara McNamara is fom Tulla, Co. Clare – it's not surprising therefore that she has an interest in Traditional Music. She attended NUI Galway where she graduated with a degree in History & English as well as a Diploma in Irish. She moved to Dublin in 2008 but is still a proud 'culchie'! Here in Dublin she received a Diploma in Journalism & Media Studies from the Dublin Business School. She likes all kinds of music, red wine and a little bit of scandal now and again!
Friday - Scoth na Seachtaine - with Cian Mac Cárthaigh: "Fios Feasa - Scoth na Seachtaine" is a "best of" collection from the week's talk shows on Raidió na Life and is presented by the station's Clár Reachtaire, Cian Mac Cárthaigh Friday evenings between 8 and 9. The show is repeated on Saturdays from 2 to 3pm and also on Sundays from 1 till 2pm. Raidió Fáilte in Belfast also broadcast this programme, as do a number of other community radio stations throughout the country who are members of CRAOL (The Community Radio Forum of Ireland).
