About The Show: Ceathrar le Ceithre Scór” is an exciting new 4-part series of interviews which will be broadcast on Raidió na Life 106.4 FM every Wednesday at 6pm for 4 weeks, starting 9th April. In this series of interviews we will hear the stories of four people who were closely involved with the creation of the Ireland of today, as they reflect on their lives and their memories of the Ireland of years gone by with Brian Ó Tiomáin.
Show 1 - Caitlín Uí Lorcáin: In this, the first programme of the series, we hear the story of Caitlín Uí Lorcáin, who lost her father in the incident in Ballyseedy during the Civil War.
Show 2 - Máire Nic Suibhne Brúgha: In this programme we hear from the daughter of the renowned Terence McSweeney, who died on hunger strike in 1920.
Show 3 - Liam Ó hOisín: In this programme we hear the story of Liam Ó hOisín, respected businessman and publisher
Show 4 - TK Whitaker: In this programme we hear the story of renowned civil servant TK Whitaker, who served as Secretary of the Department of Finance, Governor of the Central Bank and who was also an advisor to the Taoiseach on the North. Last in series.
