Darren Ó Cléirigh: Darren hails from the very centre of the capital. He's currently studying a degree in journalism in Griffith College in Dublin. He's already built a solid reputation on his work as presenter of the the Saturday afternoon show 'An Carn Ceoil' and aside from his work on the radio Darren writes for 'Griffiti’ magazine, as well as working in the production department in the television station 'Setanta Sports'. He's interested in football, sport in general, and of course, music. He’s been presenting Thursday’s Meangadh Mór for a number of months now.
Ciara Ní Mhurchú:
Ciara is from Finglas in North Dublin. At the moment she is in 6th year, and would love a job in the media after the leaving cert. She started working in Raidió na Life during the summer of 2008, and she was the presenter of the Friday afternoon Meangadh Beag for a little while! Thereafter she just hung around the studio until Darren gave her the invite to the Carn Ceoil team. She has been told her laugh is very loud, but she is trying to keep it quiet. She loves all types of music, dancing, singing, speaking Gaeilge and messing on the radio.
