About The Show: Radió na Life 106.4FM is proud to announce the BAI backed sports series 'I Roinn dá gCuid Féin', airing each Sunday between June 5th and July 17th. The series focuses on seven sports (soccer, cycling, rugby, basketball, boxing, cricket and GAA). The series entitled 'I Roinn dá gCuid Féin (In a League of their Own) focuses on the amateur and semi-professional nature of the aforementioned sports.
About The Team: The series, produced by Seán Ó Pronntaigh (formerly of Newstalk and currently producing on 98fm) aims to shine a light on: the Irish sporting scene which has been overlooked for that of professional sports abroad, the support structures in the country and a wealth of other aspects of sports in Ireland. The show is presented by John Barker, Totally Irish on 98fm, and Marcus Ó Buachalla, splanc on Newstalk, and features guests from across the sporting world in studio together with reports from each of the sports, ultimately giving an in-depth insight into each discipline featured.
