Raidió na Life are delighted to announce a special outside broadcast from Féile na Gealaí, an Irish language music and camping festival that will be held in the Gaeltacht village of Ráth Chairn in County Meath from 16-18 June 2017.
Raidió na Life will broadcast a special show on Saturday between 2-3pm from the festival, in partnership with Raidió Fáilte, an Irish language community radio station based in Belfast.
This is second year of the festival which is the largest outdoor Irish language music and camping festival which features headliners, Boss Sound Manifesto, Las, Dysania, Lauren Ní Chasaide and Imlé as well as a wide range of events for children, Irish language yoga, spoken word and an Irish language comedy club.
Aindriú de Paor, a presenter with Raidió na Life and Katie McGreal from Raidió Fáilte will present the show from Ráth Chairn which will feature musicians from the festival as well as locals, poets and other entertainers from the Irish language world.
Listeners can expect special appearances from Imlé, Lauren Ní Chasaide agus JJ Ó Dochartaigh on the show which will go out live on Raidió na Life 106.4 Fm agus ar Raidió Fáilte. Listeners can tune in online on the Irish Radio Player App and on www.raidionalife.ie.
