Culture Night is upon us once more, one of the most energetic and special nights of the year in Dublin.
Tune in to Raidió na Life tonight between 6-7.30 pm to hear a special live broadcast from the Joyce Centre on North George Street, brought to you by the community radio stations of Dublin.
This special show is produced by Near FM with support from Raidió na Life and Phoenix Fm.
On the show, the will be a full report of events taking place across the city along with guest appearances from artists living and working in the city.
Éilís Ní Dhuibhne will appear to talk about the link between the Irish language and Joyce. We will also hear from Neil Mulligan from the Píobairí Uilleann and Rónán Ó Snodaigh will make an appearance along with singer Kiruu.
We will also hear a report from Programme Co-ordinator Niamh Ní Shúilleabháin from the new headquarters of the Central Bank of Ireland who are taking part in Culture Night for the first time. The report will look into the architecture and design of the new building on the North side of the Liffey so see the links between design and culture within the organisation.
After the show from the James Joyce Centre, stay tuned in to hear presenter Sam Keenan’s new show, Gan Teorainn which will broadcast live from our Merrion Square studio specially for Culture Night from 7.30-9pm.
Share in the atmosphere of Culture Night with Raidió na Life 106.4FM and Dublin’s Community Radio Stations.
