Craol awards for Raidió na Life breakfast show and series on mental health
Raidió na Life were honoured with two distinctions for programmes in two catgeories at this year’s Craol achievment awards at this year’s annual conference for the community radio sector which was held in Ennistymon last weekend. Craol is the community radio forum for Ireland which represents 22 community radio stations broadcasting in the Republic of Ireland.
The two shows which won awards this year were: An Bricfeasta Blasta, a morning breakfast show presented and produced by Niamh Ní Shúilleabháin which airs daily on Raidió na Life 106.4FM from 8-9am. A team of volunteers work on the show including Aindriú de Paor, Oisín Mistéil, Laura Gaynor and Niamh Ní Chadhla.
The other winner at this year’s awards was Cultúr Ciúnais, a series on mental health in Ireland which was produced by Aonghus Ó Lochlainn.
