RnaL Spotlight: 3 CRAOL Achievement Awards for RnaL in 2011!
Raidió na Life was presented with 3 CRAOL Achievement Awards at this year’s awards ceremony for the community radio sector at an event which was held in Athlone town recently. RnaL was presented with the awards for programmes entered under this year’s categories of Social Benefit, Specialist Music and Commissioned Programming. The following programmes respectively received awards for the aforementioned categories Alt Éire (produced and presented by Niamh Ní Shúilleabháin and Aingeal Nic Aodh), Gach Treo (produced and presented by Anthony Cummins) and An Cuimhin Leat? (a radio drama produced and directed by Brian Ó Tiomáin). Congratulations to all who took part in the programmes which achieved an award this year! RnaL Spotlight: Gaeilge na hArdteistiméireachta - The New Syllabus
A new series for Leaving Cert students on Raidió na Life.
The poets Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, Cathal Ó Searcaigh, Pádraig Mac Suibhne and Biddy Jenkinson and the authors Ré Ó Laighléis, Éibhlís Ní Dhuibhne agus Deirdre Ní Ghrianna, among many others whose work are on the new Leaving Cert syllabus, will be heard on Raidió Na Life 106.4FM between now and Christmas.
We begin on Friday the 7th of October 2011 at 6.30pm with this new series of shows for Leaving Cert students.
