About The Show: Ceann scrios is the programme for you if you like gossip about celebs, news which you won't hear elsewhere, great music and a lot more besides. The programme airs every Sunday morning between 10 and 11. This programme keeps people up to date on gigs, different news stories and music that's close to your heart. The programme is aimed at those in their mid to late teens.

About The Presenters: Gavin Ó Briain hails from Cabinteely in Dublin. He attended an English medium primary school, “Hollypark BNS” and without a huge amount of Irish went on to attend Coláiste Eoin in Booterstown where he went on to develop a great love of the Irish Language.
Gavin's first experience with Raidió na Life came during his period of work experience in transition year, which he spent at the station. He worked in the station's offices and got to know how the station was run. In July 2008 Gavin presented his first show after being an in-studio guest from time to time on "Creachadóireacht". Gavin is a "cinnire" in both Coláiste and Cumann na bhFiann and he is very interested in promoting Irish amongst his own age group. He is also editor of Coláiste Eoin's school journal.
In his free time Gavin enjoys listening to music, watching TV, staring at cars (!) and much more besides. He speaks a number of languages, some basic sign language included.
